What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at Warner Hospital & Health Services?
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be a vital member of our healthcare team, utilizing your skills to provide top-notch care to patients by providing cardiopulmonary services in accordance with specific physician’s orders. You will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, including the necessary equipment, and administering respiratory therapy treatments, understanding the purpose of each and the possible side effects associated with each.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in the State of Illinois
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services preferred
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- May be exposed to communicable diseases
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
