What You'll Do
As an Optometric Technician, you'll play an important role in creating an outstanding patient experience by:
- Welcoming patients and obtaining comprehensive medical and vision histories
- Performing diagnostic testing, including Optomap retinal imaging, OCT, visual fields, and auto-refraction
- Preparing patients for their examination and ensuring accurate documentation
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout every patient interaction
- Assisting with eyewear dispensing, frame adjustments, and minor repairs when needed
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has previous experience in an optometry or optical practice (preferred)
- Is comfortable performing diagnostic testing such as OCT and Optomap
- Enjoys working with people and providing exceptional customer service
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
