Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Optometric Technician / Administrative Assistant who is passionate about patient care and delivers impeccable customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and front-office responsibilities and excels in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the doctors with patient workups & pre-testing
- Manage patient flow to ensure an efficient and positive experience
- Perform administrative duties including scheduling, check-in/check-out, light billing, and phone communication
- Educate patients on services, and treatment plans
- Support optical sales and frame styling as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with office protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an optometric or medical office preferred
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to travel to our Fishers location as needed
