Role Description
The Demand & Inventory Planning Analyst is central to our production, ensuring product availability across channels while driving the growth of our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and Marketplace platforms. The ideal candidate is an Excel expert capable of translating complex data from Shopify, Google Analytics, and ERP systems into actionable inventory strategies that drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting Excellence: Develop and maintain accurate demand models by analyzing historical sales, market trends, and seasonal patterns.
- Digital Growth Support: Drive specific workstreams for D2C (Shopify) and Marketplaces, adjusting forecasts based on digital marketing spend and platform-specific trends.
- Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory movement and refine assortment strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Marketing, and Sales to synchronize supply with promotional calendars and product launches.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage Tableau and Google Analytics to provide visibility into forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 2-3 years prior experience in demand or supply chain planning is a plus
- 3 years of advanced proficiency in Excel (complex modeling, PivotTables, Power Query) is a core requirement.
- 3 years Familiarity with ERP/planning software (SAP, NetSuite, JDA) and e-commerce platforms (Shopify)
- Proficiency in Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting to support inventory and sales management
- Strong Analytical Skills to analyze data trends and support decision-making
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey insights effectively
- Experience in Production Planning to align inventory and production schedules
Comp and Benefits:
Salary: Up to $86,000 (depending on experience)
