What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafeteria Monitor position at Wareham Public Schools?
-Perform duties related to the operation and administration of the school nutrition program in the Wareham Elementary School cafeteria during lunches for the 2025-2026 School Year.
-Assist in preparation, service and/or cleanup of the meal service area.
-Duties include setting up the cafeteria for meal service, assisting students with meals, helping with the lunch line, cleaning cafeteria tables between lunches.
-Ensure the safety of all students who enter the cafeteria.
-Keep the cafeteria food service area orderly and operations systematic at all times.
-Provide the students with positive feedback and instructions.
-Model proper procedures and expectations for students.
-Assist Food Service staff in keeping lunches running on time.
-Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager.
-Interact in a professional and courteous manner with the students and staff. Report any problems to the Cafeteria Manager.
