What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafeteria Monitor position at Wareham Public Schools?
-Assist kitchen staff and Wareham Elementary School students in the lunchroom during three lunches for the 2026-2027 School Year
-Involved in preparations, service and/or cleanup of the meal service area
-Performing duties related to the operation and administration of the school nutrition program, e.g. assisting students with meals, setting up the lunchroom, helping with the lunch line.
-Ensuring the safety of all students who enter the cafeteria
-Keeping the cafeteria orderly and systematic at all times
-Provide the students with positive feedback and instructions
-Model proper procedures and expectations for students
-Keep lunches running on time
-Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager
-Interact in a professional and courteous manner with the students and staff. Report any problems to the Cafeteria Manager.
