Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role located in Miami, FL. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, reconciliations and month end close processes. The Senior Accountant will be responsbile for maintaining general ledgers, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing and reviewing month end reconciliations. Additional tasks include provide support during third party audits, 1099 preparation and review, sales tax reporting, assistance in managing compliance calendars.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience with appropriate degree and certifictaions 5 years if non U.S. Accounting degree or CPA certification.
- Bilingual - Business level English written and spoken required, Spanish as second language is prefered
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Power BI, Blackline or Business Central a plus.
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
