Walsh Jesuit High School is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator who is responsible for managing the school’s social media channels, internal communications, and website while also supporting broader marketing initiatives. This full-time 12-month position plays a vital role in the internal and external communications of Walsh Jesuit High School and is under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Communications.

Major Responsibilities
Social Media Content Curation & Deployment
- Plan, create, and schedule social media posts, reels, and stories for Facebook, Instagram, and X in alignment with brand guidelines for the main WJ handles
- Work collaboratively with Enrollment, Admissions, Advancement, and Athletics to align messaging and execute a unified social media strategy in partnership with the Director of Marketing & Communications
- Oversee and support ancillary Walsh Jesuit accounts (e.g., sports teams, performing arts) by offering templates, guidance, or direct assistance as needed
- Manage social media engagement on behalf of Walsh Jesuit
- Report social media analytics monthly to the Director of Marketing & Communications
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications to manage and maintain the SharePoint site for internal brand consistency, including reminders and updates
- Serve as a contributing member of the Content Committee
- Create and send consistent messaging to parents & families, alumni, and staff through scheduled e-newsletters
- Assist with content collection for the bi-annual magazine, Warrior Paths, and other related publications
- Provide training and onboarding support for new staff as needed
- Oversee general maintenance of the Walsh Jesuit website, including athletics pages, ensuring the site is user-friendly, updated regularly, and adheres to brand standards
- Collaborate with departments such as Athletics, Advancement, Enrollment, and Academics to keep content accurate and timely
- Monitor SEO and Google rankings, and recommend improvements as needed
- Work with Blackbaud, our website host, to resolve issues and implement updates
- Provide monthly website analytics reports
- Manage user access in the Athletics Department to support content updates like rosters, schedules, scores, and stories
- Develop and maintain a regular website update calendar (monthly/quarterly) to anticipate seasonal needs
- Offer technical support and training for designated website liaisons across departments
- Support Advancement events such as the annual Gala, Alumni Weekend, Welcome Dinners, and more
- Build and maintain vendor relationships for video production, branding, and print materials, under the guidance of the Director of Marketing & Communications
- Ensure all expenditures are carefully tracked and pre-approved by the Marketing Director
- Embrace, display, and support Catholic/Christian values and spiritual formation
- Regular participation in Ignatian formation activities including the school’s formal formation program, school masses, retreats, and other activities/events as scheduled
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience with Blackbaud products preferred
- Knowledge of HTML and content management systems
- Proficiency in graphic design (Canva preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 2–5 years of experience creating and managing social media content
