Store Manager - Construction & Agricultural Equipment

Walker & Walker Equipment is seeking a hands-on Store Manager to lead all operations at a multi-department location serving the Indiana and Johnstown areas. This role oversees rentals, sales, parts, service, and warranty support for construction equipment, agricultural equipment, tractors, and outdoor power equipment.

The Store Manager is accountable for overall store performance, including profitability, team management, customer satisfaction, operational execution, and compliance. This is a fast-paced leadership role for someone who can manage people, drive results, control costs, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day store operations, set priorities, direct workflow, and ensure proper staffing across departments. Monitor KPIs, identify trends and performance gaps, and work with senior leadership to address business challenges and improve results. Hire, train, schedule, coach, and hold employees accountable while handling performance issues and conflict in line with company policy. Maintain strong customer service by resolving complex concerns professionally and protecting long-term customer relationships. Oversee inventory, stocking, ordering, counts, facility conditions, security, and operational controls. Ensure compliance with safety, workplace conduct, loss prevention, and asset protection standards.

Qualifications
Equipment industry experience is required. Preferred candidates have management experience in retail, dealership, agricultural, construction equipment, rental, automotive, or service environments, with responsibility for sales, service, parts, rental, or warranty operations. P&L accountability, KPI management, staffing, scheduling, and inventory control experience are strongly preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
