Assistant Manager (QuickBooks & Office Administration)

Walker's Carpet Care & Janitorial Service, Inc. is an established local service company looking for an experienced, dependable Assistant Manager to help oversee the day-to-day administrative and accounting functions of our business.

This is not just a receptionist or data-entry position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, notices what needs to be done, follows through without constant reminders, and helps keep the entire operation running smoothly.

The right person will work closely with management and become an important part of our company. We are looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term position, not simply their next short-term job.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Hourly Base Salary Based on Experience

• Has solid hands-on QuickBooks experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred because we regularly communicate with Spanish-speaking employees.
• Has bookkeeping, accounting or office management experience
• Is highly organized and dependable
• Can prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told every next step
• Is comfortable handling confidential financial and employee information
• Wants to become part of a company for the long term

• QuickBooks bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with employee scheduling and daily staffing issues
• Answering phones and assisting customers when needed
• Identifying problems before they become larger issues
• Keeping management informed of important financial, customer and employee matters
• Supporting management with the overall operation of the company
