The Host(ess) is responsible for welcoming guests, operating the POS cash registers, and seating guests in appropriate sections. This position must provide exceptional guest service to all customers. Essential Functions:
- Answer phone, greet customers, keep track of seating availability in restaurant, and assist wait staff when needed.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly, helpful, courteous, and timely manner. Recommend food choices and provide information on property events.
- Keep work area clean and orderly including moving tables and chairs, clearing tables, dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.
- Supports current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior
Required:
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Maintain courteous and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to work in a standing position for up to seven hours
