Cash Accountant

This position is responsible for posting bank transactions to Great Plains daily and reconciling the bank accounts monthly. The Staff Accountant is to record payments received and expenses owed. Hiring Bonus paid in two increments - $500 after 500 hours worked and $500 after 1000 hours worked. Essential Functions:

• Provide exceptional guest service to all internal and external customers.
• Work with Great Plains and Microsoft Excel.
• Reconcile all bank accounts and post transactions in Great Plains.
• Work with the Accounting and Cage employees to insure proper documentation for the posting of transactions.
• Prepare wire transfers and funds transfers.
• Maintain multiple spreadsheets to track daily balances and transactions.
• Directs incoming and outgoing cash on a daily basis.
• Monitors company cash transactions and makes sure the bank account balances to the report and verify any variances.
• Forecast, monitors, and tracks all cash flow in and out of the company.

Required:

• Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Familiar with bank cash management systems.
