Senior Buyer | 3 Years of Experience | Hybrid | Chicago, IL | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Senior Buyer with 3 years of purchasing experience to support procurement operations, vendor management, and Oracle Cloud purchasing activities. This is a Contract opportunity.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid – Chicago, IL
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2
Core Requirements:
- 3 years of experience processing purchase requisitions or purchase orders
- Experience with purchasing procedures and contract negotiations
- Experience using automated purchasing systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Purchasing System
Job Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Maintain and audit vendor records
- Prepare and analyze RFQs
- Support Oracle Cloud purchasing and eProcurement activities
- Coordinate vendor communications and issue resolution
- Process purchase order acknowledgements and returns
- Assist internal users with procurement questions and purchasing processes
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives
- Ensure purchasing compliance with organizational policies
