Responsibilities:
- Create, analyze, and maintain divisions of interest (DOIs) for operated and non-operated properties, ensuring compliant revenue and joint interest billing decks.
- Interpret and apply title opinions, leases, conveyances, and joint operating agreements to establish accurate ownership records.
- Prepare and issue division orders and transfer orders related to new wells, recompletions, and ownership changes.
- Collaborate with land, legal, accounting, and operations teams to resolve title issues, process ownership transfers, and ensure data accuracy.
Requirements:
- Experience performing calculations related to horizontal wells, including new well setups and ownership distributions, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, as this is a core daily task for this hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 5 years of oil and gas experience in division order, land administration, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of legal documents and contractual ownership scenarios.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, land software systems, and digital tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, demonstrating a willingness to problem-solve and roll up sleeves as needed.
