Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Installer / Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and fabricating custom cabinets and related millwork to meet client specifications. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques will ensure precise craftsmanship and timely project completion. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install cabinetry and millwork components.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinet frames, doors, drawers, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Install cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, siding, and other fixtures on-site with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely across construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
- Execute related tasks such as caulking, plastering, metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing support, and water damage restoration as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout each project phase.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinetry fabrication or installation within the construction or restoration industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), CNC machinery for fabrication tasks, and metal stud framing equipment.
- Familiarity with various construction disciplines including trim carpentry, framing carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing support systems, and drywall finishing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during installation or fabrication processes.
- Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments with a focus on safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges.
