Join our team as a Business Technology Transformation Manager and be part of shaping the future! Wake County is seeking a Business Technology Transformation Manager to lead key practices driving organizational change, including change management, relationship management, process improvement and innovation, communities of practice and user-centered design and testing. In this role, you’ll shape how employees and residents experience technology across Wake County . This position offers a hybrid schedule, combining remote flexibility with in‑office collaboration. Essential Functions : Lead and develop the Business Technology Transformation team Lead business transformation and user-centered design activities associated with major projects, ensuring the organization is prepared to successfully adopt new ways of working Build and support communities of practice around high priority and emerging technologies Lead partnerships and collaborations with departments on business process improvement efforts prior to technology deployment Manage relationships between the team, IT leadership, County departments and the Management Office to identify business needs early, guide direction and translate them into the necessary pre-work so that the technology delivers positive outcomes NOTE: This is an 80% hybrid role that requires working onsite at the Raleigh, NC office, with the ability to be onsite within one hour.
