Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and floor care duties throughout the hotel, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing to maintain a spotless environment.
- Conduct detailed janitorial and custodial tasks in guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and restrooms with precision and efficiency.
- Manage industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met during nightly cleaning routines.
- Provide courteous valet services by parking and retrieving guest vehicles with care and professionalism during overnight shifts.
- Monitor common areas for cleanliness and safety, addressing any issues immediately to uphold guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning protocols align with health standards and hotel policies.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, or custodial work within a hospitality or hotel setting.
- Drivers License required, ability to get in and out of guest vehicles, driver in a safe and courtesy manner
- Strong knowledge of janitorial procedures, industrial cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality enhances understanding of guest service expectations.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and assisting guests politely.
- Demonstrated ability to manage housekeeping tasks efficiently during overnight hours while maintaining high standards of quality.
