Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. The Night Auditor will be responsible for managing front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional customer service to guests from 11pm-7am on Friday and Saturday overnights. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in hotel management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs of guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and record keeping.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures during night shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel operations or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and effective communication.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is advantageous.
- Flexibility to handle various tasks as needed throughout the shift.
