Beverage Cart Attendant

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a beverage cart attendant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional food and beverage experience on the golf course for members and guests that includes taking orders, handling point-of-sale transactions, and serving orders. You will also be responsible for handling inventory, performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks, and assisting as a server and cashier at a poolside café.

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a welcoming experience for all members and guests.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders from members and guests.
• Handle all aspects of point-of-sale transactions.
• Serve food and beverages to members and guests in accordance with club food and beverage standards.
• Perform all opening and closing duties including, but not limited to, restocking the beverage cart and filling the golf cart with gas.
• Replenish food and beverages during shifts as needed and ensure beverage cart remains neat and orderly throughout shift.
• Report any issues with the beverage cart immediately to supervisor.
• Accurately take orders, handle point-of-sale transactions, and serve food at Magnolia’s, a poolside café, when the beverage cart is not in operation.
• Protect establishment and customers by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow uniform and personal appearance standards, as well as all employee standards outlined in the employee handbook(s).

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous server and/or bartending experience required.
• Basic knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, beer, and wine.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Capacity to be on your feet for long hours.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, rotate, climb, stand, push, lift, grasp, and reach.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various extreme weather conditions.
• Willingness to work with or around sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or flying golf balls.
• Must be reliable and have a flexible work schedule.
