Customer Service Representative – Level I

Contract: 6 months

Location: Remote (Syracuse, Rochester, Utica & Buffalo, NY)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Customer Inquiries: Respond to benefit, claims, and eligibility questions via phone, email, walk-in, and mail.
  • Meet Performance Metrics: Maintain required accuracy, call volume, and call handling time.
  • Liaison Support: Communicate with customers, internal departments, vendors, and partners.
  • Team Support: Assist in training new team members as needed.
  • Maintain Compliance: Follow all customer service policies; participate in ongoing training.


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree 6 months experience OR 2 years customer service experience.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • PC proficiency and completion of customer service training program.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for long periods and use headset/keyboard throughout the shift.
