Customer Service Representative – Level I
Contract: 6 months
Location: Remote (Syracuse, Rochester, Utica & Buffalo, NY)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Customer Inquiries: Respond to benefit, claims, and eligibility questions via phone, email, walk-in, and mail.
- Meet Performance Metrics: Maintain required accuracy, call volume, and call handling time.
- Liaison Support: Communicate with customers, internal departments, vendors, and partners.
- Team Support: Assist in training new team members as needed.
- Maintain Compliance: Follow all customer service policies; participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree 6 months experience OR 2 years customer service experience.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations.
- PC proficiency and completion of customer service training program.
- Ability to work occasional overtime.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods and use headset/keyboard throughout the shift.
