We have an career opportunity for a Business Data Analyst with our client in Columbus. We're looking for a Lead BSA Analyst to partner with business and technical teams to define, refine, and deliver data-centric solutions that power enterprise insights.
This role is critical to our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) efforts and involves deep collaboration with stakeholders to gather and document business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and support Agile delivery using tools like Snowflake, DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix, and Tableau.
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders to uncover true data and reporting needs.
- Document detailed technical and functional requirements, with a strong emphasis on data sourcing, transformation, and validation.
- Work with Product Owners to translate Epics into actionable Features and detailed User Stories.
- Create and maintain data mapping documentation (source-to-target) and support data validation efforts.
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to clarify story details, ensure acceptance criteria are met, and support story point estimation.
- Act as a liaison between business, product, and development teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Identify and escalate data or requirement-related blockers to the Scrum Master.
