The Training and Development Manager will play a key role in ensuring our workforce is equipped to meet current and future business demands through innovative and strategic learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess company-wide training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data.
- Design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance knowledge, skills, and productivity.
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, including compliance, technical, and soft skills training.
- Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted training solutions.
- Oversee and enhance the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure effective delivery and tracking of training.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics, assessments, and feedback, refining programs based on results.
- Research and apply best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and performance improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships and external training providers.
- Support talent development initiatives such as career pathing, succession planning, and mentorship programs.
- Ensure all training content is inclusive, engaging, and aligned with company values and compliance standards.
- Stay current on industry trends and new learning technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related HR/talent management role.
- Preferred machining knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and measure training effectiveness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
