Key Responsibilities
Design and develop thermal management solutions for electronic and microelectronic systems
Conduct analytical, numerical, and experimental heat transfer studies
Develop, assemble, and validate custom thermal test setups and prototypes
Characterize thermal performance of components such as RF amplifiers, CPUs, and related devices
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are scalable for manufacturing
Support product development from concept through testing and early-stage commercialization
Document test results, design iterations, and technical findings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field
5 years of hands-on industry experience in thermal systems or related domains
Strong background in heat transfer (analytical, numerical, and experimental)
Experience designing and fabricating custom test setups
Experience with electronic thermal management solutions
Familiarity with RF and electronic devices, including Si and GaN-on-SiC technologies
Experience with electronic packaging processes (e.g., cleanroom fabrication, plating, soldering, reflow)
Experience in design and/or manufacturing of thermal components such as heat sinks, cold plates, or two-phase cooling systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with phase change heat transfer
Proficiency in simulation tools such as COMSOL or ANSYS
Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
Experience working in R&D or startup environments
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment initially, with increasing on-site collaboration as hardware development progresses
Hands-on lab and prototyping work required

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Ability to obtain security clearance is a plus
