Position Overview
A growing construction organization is seeking a Safety Professional with approximately five years of construction safety experience to support field operations on water, wastewater, and industrial construction projects.
This position is ideal for an early-career safety professional who is passionate about maintaining safe job sites, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, conduct field safety inspections, provide safety training, and help ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. The role requires regular travel to project sites throughout the Bay Area and full-time onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and enforce safe work practices on active construction projects.
Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks.
Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
Support project teams in hazard identification and risk mitigation.
Coordinate with field personnel to improve overall safety performance.
Assist with emergency response planning and safety training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Approximately 5 years of construction project safety management experience.
Experience In Water/wastewater, Industrial, Or Heavy Civil Construction Preferred.
Possess one or more of the following certifications:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Safety Management Professional (SMP)
Occupational Safety & Health Officer (PSHO)
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
Current First Aid/CPR certification (within the past two years preferred).

Proficient With
