What You'll Do (Essential Functions)
As a Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead, plan, develop, and coordinate large, complex structural projects or multiple smaller projects with significant technical requirements.
- Serve as a staff advisor/technical consultant on specialized engineering topics.
- Perform structural analyses, calculations, and prepare documentation across a wide variety of challenging projects.
- Utilize engineering tools and software including Enercalc, RISA, and other structural design programs.
- Act as Proposal Manager for Level 2 projects.
- Approve discipline-specific level-of-effort estimates as assigned by the Group Manager.
- Stamp and review engineering work performed by others within the discipline.
- Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed QA standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Structural Group Manager.
You will report directly to the Structural Group Manager.
Who We're Looking For
A strong candidate will have:
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.); Structural Engineer (S.E.) required
- Experience 8 years minimum with 10 years being ideal.
- Proven experience leading engineering projects with complex requirements.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (Enercalc, RISA, etc.).
- Strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative leadership style.
- Ability to mentor, advise, and consult as a technical specialist.
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
