Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural BIM models in Revit for residential and commercial projects.
- Produce clear, well-organized structural drawings, plans, and details from engineering markups and design sketches.
- Set up and manage Revit project templates, views, sheets, and worksets for efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate models with architects and consultants to identify and resolve clashes and constructability issues.
- Ensure all drawings and models adhere to company and industry BIM standards and project-specific requirements.
- Assist structural engineers with revisions, RFIs, and permit submittals, incorporating comments from building departments and clients.
- Support continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and content libraries, and provide guidance to junior drafters.
- Proven Structural/BIM drafting experience using Revit on residential and/or commercial projects.
- Solid understanding of structural building systems and construction practices.
- Proficiency in Revit, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Salary Range: $30/hr - $45/hr (depending on experience).
