Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural BIM models in Revit for residential and commercial projects
- Produce accurate, well-organized structural drawings, plans, and details based on engineering markups and design sketches
- Set up and manage Revit project templates, views, sheets, and worksets for efficient project delivery
- Coordinate models with architects and consultants to identify and resolve clashes and constructability issues
- Ensure drawings and models comply with internal BIM standards and project-specific requirements
- Assist structural engineers with revisions, RFIs, and permit submittals, incorporating comments from building departments and clients
- Support the improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and content libraries
- Provide guidance and support to junior drafters as needed
- Experience in structural/BIM drafting using Revit on residential and/or commercial projects
- Knowledge of structural building systems and construction practices
- Proficiency in Revit, Excel, and Google Suite
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Hourly pay range: $30/hr - $45/hr (DOE)
