What You'll Work On
- Overhead bridge cranes, hoists, and rigging systems
- 3-phase motors and controls (480V / 277V / 208V)
- VFDs, starters, relays, sensors, and safety circuits
- Press brakes, shears, saws, conveyors, and fabrication equipment
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Forklifts and material handling equipment
- Preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (steel, manufacturing, heavy industrial preferred)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills on motors and controls
- Experience maintaining or supporting overhead cranes/hoists
- Ability to read schematics and diagnose issues methodically
- Solid mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission)
- Comfortable working in hot, dusty, high-production environments
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- Journeyman/Master Electrician license, NCCER, or other industrial electrical credentials
- NFPA 70E training/experience and comfort working within electrical safety programs.
- Crane/rigging credentials (overhead crane inspection training, rigging or signalperson
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley/Siemens) and comfort with VFD commissioning
- Welding certification (AWS or employer-qualified) and strong maintenance welding history.
- OSHA 10/30, fall protection, confined space, and MEWP/aerial lift certifications.
