Duties & Responsibilities:-
- We are seeking a Senior Land Surveyor / Team Lead to support a range of land development, infrastructure, and institutional projects. This role is ideal for a survey professional with strong field and technical experience who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities and play a key role in growing our surveying capabilities.
- You will lead survey efforts from field through final deliverables, working closely with engineers and project teams to support design, permitting, and construction. This position offers a clear path toward department leadership, with mentorship and the opportunity to shape and expand our survey services.

Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Lead and manage surveying projects from field data collection through final deliverables.
- Oversee and support survey crews performing boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys.
- Perform and/or review data processing, adjustments, and mapping using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Ensure quality control of survey data, plats, and deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and geotechnical teams to support integrated project delivery.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders regarding scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Mentor junior staff and assist in training on field procedures, equipment, and software.
- Operate and troubleshoot survey equipment including Leica robotic total stations, GPS systems, and drones.
- Support proposal efforts, scope development, and project planning as needed.
- Assist in building and transitioning into a survey leadership role within the firm.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- 5 years of progressive land surveying experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Leica robotic total stations, GPS systems, and field software.
- Strong understanding of field operations, boundary analysis, and construction layout.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior staff.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance field and office responsibilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a service line is a plus.

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
