We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer based out of either our Philadelphia or Pittsburgh office (hybrid role) to lead our rapidly growing geotechnical division. The ideal candidate would be a motivated Professional Engineer looking to manage a wide variety of residential and commercial projects throughout Pennsylvania primarily. This individual will lead and support the design and execution of geotechnical engineering projects, including field investigations, laboratory testing, and complex geotechnical analysis and design. We rely on our team to be client-focused and responsiveness is of the utmost importance so the ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively is key.

- Plan and oversee field geotechnical assessments.
- Work with our drilling division to determine the best approach on investigation and due diligence projects.
- Properly document subsurface conditions and review soil and rock laboratory test results.
- Conduct geotechnical calculations and prepare technical reports, design documents, and construction specifications.
- Assist Principals with business development efforts and the preparation of client proposals.
- Oversight and training of junior team members.
- Supervision of subcontractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
- A minimum of 10 years of geotechnical experience
- Holds or is working towards a professional license (PE/PG preferred)
