Key Responsibilities
- Lead research and development (R&D) activities to evaluate and implement best-fit solutions.
- Define and drive the end-to-end process, architecture, and workflows for data engineering projects.
- Provide strategic decision-making on tools, frameworks, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure high-quality, efficient, and reliable data engineering practices.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem and big data processing frameworks.
- Proven ability to design and construct robust data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and architectures.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and smart decision-making skills.
- 6 years of overall data engineering experience, with at least 3 years in GCP.
- Experience in R&D and process definition for data projects is highly preferred.
