One of our clients is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Scheduler / Estimator to support construction project planning and execution. This role is critical in developing and maintaining accurate project schedules, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting overall project performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and field personnel to gather inputs and ensure schedule accuracy
- Identify critical paths, milestones, and scheduling risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Analyze impacts of scope changes, delays, and unforeseen conditions on timelines
- Support planning and forecasting through data-driven insights
- Prepare and present schedule reports for internal and client-facing meetings
- Ensure scheduling activities align with project requirements and internal standards
- Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling and project management principles
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Procore)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2-5 years of experience in construction scheduling (preferred)
