Our comp for sales is a base salary ($60K-90K DOE) plus a draw (typically $50K /-). Commission is 1% of total sales. Most of our territories have $10M in sales potential, and we are newer to CA so there is a lot of untapped opportunity for this position.
This territory is huge - basically from Sacramento to the Kern County line, east of the 5 freeway. Ideally, the candidate will reside somewhere from Lodi to Fresno along the Highway 99 corridor.

- Seeking a driven sales professional for the Central California region along the Highway 99 corridor (from Lodi to Fresno). The role focuses on heavy equipment, crushing, mining, aggregate production, and wash plant markets. Candidates with relevant experience can quickly make an impact in a territory with strong demand and untapped opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development
- Create and implement territory-specific sales plans to meet revenue and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and address client needs promptly.
- Monitor competitors, trends, and customer preferences.
- Provide insights and recommendations for strategy adjustments.
- Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting → presenting → negotiating → closing deals.
- Consult with clients to solve operational challenges and sell equipment spreads.
- Track sales performance, pipeline, and metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for management.
- Coordinate with marketing, product development, and customer service.
- Gather insights from customers and relay them to improve products and services.
- Support junior sales staff to foster growth and development.

Requirements
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a history of closing deals.
- Experience in heavy equipment sales, crushing, aggregate production, mining, or wash plants.
- Ability to consult with clients to optimize operations.
- Strong commitment to safety on the road and job sites.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory; office visits are infrequent (about once a month).
