Quality Control Inspector
Summary Of Position
We are seeking an experienced mechanical Quality Control Inspector for our 1st shift that will support the machine shop manufacturing operation. This position requires performing quality control inspections on a variety of tight-tolerance parts and assemblies using the equipment listed below, as well as maintaining a full-time presence to represent the Quality team on the production floor. The candidate must be able to work independently to perform and document first piece and in-process inspections in accordance with the documented LAB Medical Quality Management System. Must also be able to work collaboratively with Quality and Production personnel to assist in final inspections and/or First Article Inspections as needed. Write nonconformance reports as required and communicate inspection results to the organization through electronic and hard copy systems. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience working as a quality inspector in a machine shop or similar environment, preferably in a medical device, automotive, or aerospace setting.
- Familiarity with CMM (Zeiss Calypso) programming and/or operation preferred
- Micro-Vu, Keyence, or similar vision system experience desired
- Experience using standard measuring equipment such as optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, pin gages, etc.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
- Ability to document detailed inspection results
- ASQ certification a plus
- Experience in an FDA-regulated, ISO 13485:2016 compliant environment is desired
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and MRP systems is preferred
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
