Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
- Provide medication management (including prescribing)
- Develop and monitor treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention when needed
- Educate patients and families on medications and care plans
- Collaborate with therapists and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate documentation
- PMHNP certification
- Active or eligible New York State NP license
- 1 year experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Experience with substance use disorders is a plus
- Willing to prescribe Suboxone
- Eligible for Medicaid/Medicare participation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Salary: $135,000 - $150,000/year
