Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing multiple projects ($6,000,000 to $15,000,000) from start to finish, including scope and scheduling, budget management, and ensuring project teams have access to the most current information.

Role & Responsibilities
- Process GC Contracts
- Process tracking and distribute Request for Information (RFI)
- Coordinate tracking and distribute submittals
- Coordinating and processing changed orders
- Internal Job setup
- CCIP/ OCIP Enrollments- if required
- Problem solves as necessary to perform job functions
- Complies with all Corporate Policies and Procedures
- Proficient in TEKLA
- Review project scope, contract and drawings to have a complete understanding of project requirements
- Work with the PC to ensure that the detailers understand all requirements and project components.
- Review all drawings for accuracy to the Design drawings
- Coordinate with the General Contract all submittals, project revisions, shop schedules and field schedules
- Coordinate with the shop for all fabrication schedules to ensure products is delivered to the site on time per the site schedules
- Coordinate with field installation crew to ensure all site schedules are met, all product is provided to field in a timely fashion all equipment is available, all E - Drawings are provided site conditions are conclusive of installing product in a timely and safe manner
- Coordinate with the GC to ensure site is ready for product installation per sequences and schedules previously agreed upon
- Work with Safety Manager to ensure all Safety documentation is provided in the GC before installation of product
- Work with the GC to ensure all installation requirements are met prior to mobilizing field crew to the site
- Must have basic understanding of TEKLA program to review production assembly status in the shop
- Work with estimating to ensure accurate accountability of project scope
- Background/ Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 5 years Structural Steel/Misc. Steel experience as a Project Manager/ Estimator in the structural steel industry or similar field
- Experience as a fabricator or erector may substitute for detailing/drafting experience or similar field
- Strong computer and communication skills required.
- Experience with estimating construction projects and Tekla PowerFab EPM and Procore preferred.
- General knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.
- General knowledge of AISC and/or PCI standards and AWS D1.1 and D1.5 codes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings.
- Proven ability to manage large multiple commercial and industrial projects.
- General knowledge of 3D modeling / Tekla system.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines.
- Ability to read and understand all the project specifications, project manuals, Architectural Drawings, and Structural Drawings.
- Maintain Schedule, Submittal and Change Order Logs.
