Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a precision machine shop and foundry environment.
- Diagnose and execute emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Install, modify, upgrade, and commission manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Maintain and update equipment documentation, schematics, and maintenance records to reflect modifications and improvements.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, steam, and hot water systems.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and work with external contractors and vendors on subcontracted maintenance and repair projects.
- Adhere to all company safety standards, policies, and best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using a digital multimeter and standard mechanic's tools.
- Experience with metal and wood fabrication.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Stick welding experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing, machine shop, foundry, or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, steam, and hot water systems.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Successful completion of a drug screening.
