We are seeking an experienced Mobile Mechanic / Roadside Service Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves traveling to customer locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles on-site. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, customer-focused, and capable of working independently while delivering high-quality automotive service.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues on a variety of vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance including:
- Oil changes
- Brake repairs
- Battery replacement
- Starter and alternator replacement
- Tire services
- Fluid checks and replacements
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance and mobile service calls.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Explain repair recommendations and findings to customers in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Ensure company vehicle and equipment remain clean, organized, and operational.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
- Minimum 2 years of professional automotive repair experience (4 years preferred).
- ASE Certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of gasoline vehicle systems including:
- Engine
- Brakes
- Suspension
- Steering
- Electrical systems
- Starting and charging systems
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems independently.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage daily service calls.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must provide your own professional mechanic tools.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
