- Overseeing complex deal flow with minimal supervision
- Leading and mentoring junior associates
- Directing and executing due diligence workstreams
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ancillary and primary transaction documents
- Applying strong business judgment to navigate fast-moving deal dynamics
You'll join a powerhouse group of 70 private equity attorneys representing a wide range of global sponsors, including:
- Leveraged buyout funds
- Growth equity & venture capital funds
- Independent sponsors & family offices
- Search funds
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- 6 years of substantive M&A and private equity experience
- Proven track record managing complex transactions
- Strong document drafting and negotiation skills
- Eligibility for North Carolina Bar preferred
- Prior deal experience ideally involving transactions $100M
