Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee litigation cases across multiple disciplines
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with clarity and accuracy.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court proceedings or alternative dispute resolution settings.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely filing of all legal documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and prepare for trial or hearings.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations to provide informed legal advice.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance legal skills and knowledge across various practice areas.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Proven experience or strong interest in litigation across diverse legal fields including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and landlord-tenant law.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
- Prior experience working in a busy Law office environment is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple cases simultaneously.
