Position Overview
We are seeking two experienced Land Survey Drafters with strong expertise in ALTA and Boundary surveys and proficiency in Carlson software. This role will support survey and engineering teams by producing accurate and detailed drawings, ensuring high-quality deliverables for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and Boundary Surveys based on field data, legal descriptions, and client requirements
Draft survey plans, plats, and maps using Carlson software (AutoCAD-based)
Interpret field notes, sketches, and survey data to create accurate drawings
Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure project accuracy and timelines
Review and verify drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards
Perform revisions and updates based on redlines and client feedback
Maintain organized project files and documentation
Ensure deliverables meet company standards and client specifications
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Land Survey Drafter
Strong hands-on experience with ALTA and Boundary surveys
Proficiency in Carlson software (required) and AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, plats, and survey data
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a surveying or civil engineering firm
Familiarity with local/state surveying standards and regulations
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Work Arrangement
On-site preferred, however remote candidates will be considered based on experience
