Responsibilities

• Handle employment investigations, charges, and lawsuits from inception through resolution.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Conduct depositions and discovery.
• Participate in mediations, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
• Lead trial preparation and implement strategy.
• Advise employers on labor and employment law issues
  
  

Qualifications

• 5-7- years of Labor & Employment law experience; including investigations of claims.
• Experience drafting EEOC charge responses and TWC investigation responses.
• Strong motion drafting and trial experience.
• First chair responsibility for depositions, discovery, and litigation strategy.
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
• Client development and management skills.
