Our client is seeking a Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) Engineer to support drainage and stormwater projects under the direction of senior and lead H&H modeling engineers. This role is intended for an engineer with approximately 4-5 years of hands-on H&H modeling and drainage design experience who is looking to grow into a senior technical role.

Our client is seeking a Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) Engineer to support drainage and stormwater projects under the direction of senior and lead H&H modeling engineers. This role is intended for an engineer with approximately 4-5 years of hands-on H&H modeling and drainage design experience who is looking to grow into a senior technical role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drainage planning, design, and profile development
- Drainage and stormwater calculations
- Support H&H modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XP-SWMM, or similar tools
- Prepare drainage reports and technical documentation
- Support permitting efforts and agency coordination
- 4-5 years of experience in H&H and drainage modeling engineering
- Strong experience in drainage design and calculations
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Exposure to HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XP-SWMM
- Municipal or DOT project experience
- PE license a plus, not required (can be obtained in Texas)
