Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, and corporate positions.
- Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding activities.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, export control regulations, and security clearance requirements as applicable.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and HR-related concerns.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and workplace expectations.
- Support conflict resolution efforts and conduct workplace investigations when necessary.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused work environment.
- Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) administration and EEO reporting requirements.
- Maintain adherence to aerospace regulatory standards and government contract obligations.
- Manage accurate employee records and maintain HRIS data integrity.
- Performance Management & Development
- Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate training programs, including compliance and safety-related training.
- Assist with succession planning and workforce planning strategies.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries.
- Assist with payroll coordination and compensation analysis.
- Support annual merit increase, salary review, and bonus administration processes.
- HR Operations
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Track HR metrics and maintain reporting dashboards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry preferred.
- Experience supporting government contracts is a plus.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
- PHR or SPHR
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with ITAR, OFCCP requirements, and government contracting regulations preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hybrid work setting consisting of both office and manufacturing floor environments.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- Occasional travel may be required.
