- Perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on construction equipment
- Work on a full range of Caterpillar excavation equipment and similar machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Relevant experience or technical training as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Welding experience is a plus
- Tools are a plus but not required
- Valid driver's license required
