Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our fleet maintenance facilities in Largo, FL. Candidates with previous experience with Milling Machines and shop leadership will be at the top of the pay range. Responsible for working with 3 to 4 shop employees performing the services and repairs on various heavy equipment and vehicles.

Minimum 40-hour work week plus overtime paid weekly.

Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.

• Supply own tools.
• Major repairs performed at our facilities in Largo.
• Some limited travel will be required for maintenance & repairs to equipment on job sites.
• Driver's license required.
  
  

Job Duties

• Routine maintenance & service of asphalt milling machines, paving equipment, trailers, service vehicles, tractors, mowers and diesel trucks.
• Repairs to equipment systems including hydraulic, electrical, water and air.
• Repairs & maintenance to undercarriage on tracked equipment.
• Fluid and filter services on all equipment & vehicles.
• Work with provided tools and equipment.
