Overview
Seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented engineer to design and debug advanced cryptographic hardware systems. This role involves full ownership of the hardware design lifecycle, from initial architecture through high-layer PCB layout and final lab integration.
Core Qualifications
- EDA Expertise: Proficiency in Cadence Allegro and OrCAD
- High-Speed Design: Experience with LVDS and high-speed signaling (up to 10 Gbps)
- Design Complexity: Strong knowledge of 16 layer HDI designs and IPC Class 3 standards
- Full Lifecycle Ownership: Experience with component selection, schematic capture, vendor coordination, and system integration/testing
- Documentation: Ability to create detailed and accurate technical design documentation
- Experience with NSA Type 1 cryptographic systems and certification processes
- Knowledge of secure design principles, including TEMPEST and RED/BLACK separation
- Familiarity with FPGA development (Xilinx Vivado), Python scripting, or Git-based workflows
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering 7 years of relevant experience OR
- 12 years of relevant experience without a degree
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering 12 years of relevant experience OR
- 17 years of relevant experience without a degree
- 7 years of PCB design experience
- 7 years of hardware engineering experience
- Ability to work onsite
