Description
- Company is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team.
- Responsibilities include planning and overseeing subsurface investigations, analyzing soil and foundation conditions, preparing geotechnical reports, and providing field and laboratory support for construction projects.
- Candidates may range from recent graduates to experienced professionals.
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work both in the field and office are essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred but not required).
- 0-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience (entry-level to mid-career candidates encouraged to apply).
- Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and geotechnical analysis methods.
- Familiarity with subsurface exploration, drilling operations, and field/lab testing of soils and construction materials.
- Strong technical writing skills for geotechnical reports and client communication.
- Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., gINT, GeoStudio, LPILE, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to perform both office and field duties, including travel to project sites.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
