- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to guarantee system reliability.
- Document technical findings and test results accurately for project compliance records.
- Maintain a high standard of site safety while interacting professionally with clients.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fire alarm system installation.
- Proficiency with power tools, diagnostic equipment, and multi-meters.
- Valid driver's license and a history of safe vehicle operation.
- Strong understanding of NEC and local fire codes.
- NICET Level I or II certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
- Experience with specialized commercial control systems and government-sector projects.
- Completion of a formal electrical or fire alarm apprenticeship program.
- New York State Fire Alarm installer license is a plus
