Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished attorney with 2-4 years of civil litigation experience to join our Family Law and Litigation Practice. Partner-level lateral candidates will also be considered based on experience and seniority. The role involves handling complex litigation matters, client representation, and contributing to a collaborative and community-focused legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters with a focus on family law and related disputes
• Serve in first-chair responsibilities on litigation cases as appropriate
• Represent clients across a broad range of business, litigation, and personal legal matters
• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys within the firm
• Supervise and mentor support staff and junior team members
• Provide strategic legal advice and high-quality client representation
• Engage in challenging, high-level legal matters while maintaining strong client relationships
• Contribute to the firm's commitment to community involvement and service
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation (family law experience preferred)
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Virginia
• Strong background in litigation, including first-chair experience
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong work ethic, energetic personality, and commitment to professional excellence
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and efficiently
