This position will require initial on-site work to start. However, our current remote work policy permits up to three flexible remote days per week if desired; employees must have adequate and reliable hardware and internet services to work remotely. Alternatively, employees may opt to work in the office daily.

Requirements
- Speak, read, and write English and Spanish
- In-depth knowledge and experience with civil litigation rules and processes in California Superior courts
- Independently draft routine civil litigation complaints, discovery (propounding and responding), motions, briefs
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Ability to efficiently analyze and prioritize routine legal tasks and projects
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- College degree not required, but preferred
- Graduate of ABA-approved paralegal program not required, but preferred
- Proof of continuing education per B&P Code,

- Translate at client meetings to prepare for depositions, mediations, and trials
- File and serve legal documents with state and federal courts (appellate court experience, a plus)
- Independently draft complaints, discovery, motions, and mediation briefs
- Independently prepare routine legal documents
- Organize and maintain electronic case files and documents
